The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) will close the objection window for the Joint Admission Test for MSc 2026 (IIT JAM 2026) provisional answer key today, February 27, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the examination and are not satisfied with any answer must submit their challenges before the deadline through the official portal.
IIT Bombay had earlier released the provisional answer key along with the response sheet on its official website, jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The provisional answer key allows candidates to verify their marked responses and ascertain their potential scores.
To raise objections, candidates need to log in to the JOAPS portal using their enrolment ID or email ID and password. The challenge facility is available only online, and no objections will be accepted after the closing time.
The IIT Bombay assessment team will evaluate all candidate objections after the objection period ends. The institute will issue the final answer key after completing its assessment, which will serve as the foundation for determining IIT JAM 2026 results.
The official timetable states that IIT JAM 2026 results will be announced on March 20, 2026. Candidates who pass the test will have access to their scorecards beginning March 27, 2026.
The IIT JAM 2026 examination was held on February 15, 2026, as a computer-based test to select students for Master of Science programs at Indian Institutes of Technology and other participating institutions across India.
