The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched its online registration process for the Term-End Examination (TEE), scheduled for June 2026. Students enrolled in various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and Certificate programs (both ODL and Online modes) can now register via the official website- exam.ignou.ac.in.
The form submission window without a late fee is open until April 10, 2026. Students who miss this deadline can still apply between April 11 and April 24, 2026, with a late fee of INR 1,100.
Theory Exam Fee: INR 200 per course.
Practical/Lab Fee: INR 300 (up to 4 credits) or INR 500 (above 4 credits) per course.
In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, IGNOU has made the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID mandatory for all students. The university stated that examination forms will not be processed unless a valid ABC ID is linked to the student’s profile.
Assignment Prerequisite: Students must ensure that all required assignments for their respective courses have been submitted to their Study Centres before filling out the exam form.
Hybrid Exam Mode: The June 2026 session will follow a hybrid format, utilising both traditional pen-and-paper and Computer-Based Tests (CBT) for specific programs.
No Centre Changes: The university has clarified that once a regional exam centre is allotted, no requests for changes will be entertained under any circumstances.
Result Review: Students awaiting results from the December 2025 TEE are advised to apply for the June session if they anticipate a backlog, as the fee remains non-refundable.
The exams are scheduled to begin on June 1, 2026, and will conclude in mid-July. Hall tickets are expected to be released ten days before the commencement of the first examination.
