The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has announced teacher vacancies for 2026, for the post of PGTs in the Computer Science subject.
The 1,672 vacancies are in 2 cadres. For the Mewat Cadre, the total vacant posts are 78, while for the Rest of Haryana (ROH), there are a total of 1,594 vacant posts. The recruitment notification was released on February 5, 2026, and the application submission deadline is March, 2026.

The exam registration will be open from 16 February 2026 till 16 March 2026. Applicants must fulfill academic and age requirements listed below to take the exam:
M.Sc. Computer Science, MCA, or BE/B.Tech (CS/IT) with at least 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
Applicants must qualify Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or STET.
Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as a subject.
Age limit must be between 18 and 42 years (relaxations apply for reserved categories).
The Selection Process Evaluates Candidates in 3 Phases
Screening Test: Candidates appear for a qualifying MCQ-based test.
Subject Knowledge Test: Candidates take a descriptive exam that carries 87.5% weightage.
Interview/Viva-Voce: Authorities assess personality and communication skills with 12.5% weightage.
