More than 79,000 candidates have accepted their undergraduate seat allocations in the first round of Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the 2026–27 academic session.
The university initially issued 93,033 allocations across 67 colleges and 221 programmes. This included roughly 21,000 extra seat offers beyond the total capacity of 71,600 to ensure all spots are filled early.

Candidates must track the official timeline closely to secure their seats:
July 20, 2026 (4:59 PM): Deadline for colleges to verify and approve applications.
July 21, 2026 (11:59 PM): Final deadline for online fee payment.
July 25, 2026: Release of the DU Round 2 Seat Allocation List.
July 28, 2026: Commencement of the undergraduate academic session.
Allocated students must log into the DU CSAS portal to complete their process:
Check Status: Monitor the dashboard until the status changes to "Approved for Payment".
Pay Online: Complete the fee transaction before the July 21 deadline.
Select Option: Choose Freeze to retain the current seat, or Upgrade to opt for a higher preference in the upcoming July 25 list.
