Key features of the Internships Programme

The first thing that strikes you is the 30,000 stipend for the entire internship period. Although the figure is quite small, the opportunity to work with DRDO scientists provides access to modern technologies. Then contributing to defence innovation will be the most valued points from a young engineer's perspective.

Interns will be immersed in research on human physiology, performance, and allied sciences, which are key areas for defence and national security. They will not only learn about scientific research but also appreciate how it is converted into the armed forces' products and services.

After completing the training, participants will be given a DRDO certificate, which will be a good addition to their academic and professional credentials. This internship is a small part of DRDO's large-scale initiatives aimed at talent recognition, capacity building, and involvement of students in the R&D ecosystem of India.

If you plan to submit an application, do so well in advance, as vacancies with DRDO and other top-notch organisations are limited and highly sought after.
