The Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) has opened the application window for the Delhi Common Entrance Test (Delhi CET 2026). Students who are seeking admission in diploma courses can submit their applications digitally on tte.delhi.gov.in, till 10 June, 2026.
The diploma courses are open in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and non-engineering disciplines from government and private polytechnic institutes. These institutes are affiliated with the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).
The important dates for the examinations are as follows:
Application Window: May 25, 2026, to June 10, 2026.
Admit Card Release: June 11, 2026 (Expected).
Capital CET 2026 Exam Dates: June 13, 2026, and June 14, 2026.
Result Declaration: June 15, 2026.
Online Counselling Commences: June 16, 2026.
Candidates must ensure they meet the specific academic requirements before applying:
Engineering & Non-Engineering Diplomas (3-Year): Passed Class 10 with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
Diploma in Pharmacy: Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics.
Lateral Entry (2-Year Second Year Admission): Passed Class 12 with PCM or passed Class 10 along with a 2-year ITI course.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The CET Exam 2026 will be conducted in an offline, pen-and-paper mode. The test duration is 2.5 hours. The question paper features multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, depending on the chosen course stream.
A negative marking scheme is applicable, where every correct response awards 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
Eligible candidates can complete their registration by following these steps:
Visit the official website: Go to the official registration links.
New Registration: Click on the registration tab, enter your active mobile number and email ID to generate login credentials.
Fill Application Form: Log in and accurately fill out personal, contact, and academic details.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of a recent passport-sized photograph, signature, and left-thumb impression in the prescribed format.
Pay Application Fee: Submit the required exam fee through online payment modes (Net banking, Credit/Debit card, or UPI) and download the confirmation page for future reference.
