CAT 2026 Registration Begins Today; Get Exam Scheduled for November 29

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has commenced the online process for the CAT 2026 registration on August 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM IST. Candidates aspiring to secure admission to prestigious MBA and PGDM programmes at premier management institutes can now submit their applications online via the official portal at iimcat.ac.in.

The national-level entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, November 29, 2026, across approximately 170 test cities in India. The registration window will remain open until September 15, 2026, closing strictly at 5:00 PM IST.

Eligibility and Fee Structure

Candidates holding a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) are eligible to apply. Students currently in the final year of their undergraduate degree or awaiting results can also register.

The application fee has been updated for this session:

• General / OBC / EWS Candidates: INR 2,700

• SC / ST / PwD Candidates: INR 1,350

How to Apply for CAT 2026

Eligible candidates can complete their application by following these steps on the official portal:

1. Visit iimcat.ac.in and select 'New Candidate Registration'.

2. Generate a user ID and password using a valid mobile number and email.

3. Log in to fill out the digital form covering academic details, work experience, and preferred IIM programmes.

4. Upload required scanned documents, including a recent passport photo, signature, and category certificates.

5. Select six preferred test city choices.

6. Submit the non-refundable registration fee via digital payment modes and print the confirmation page.
