Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has published its recruitment notice for 2026 for 120 Senior Executive Trainee (SET) positions. The openings include 95 positions for Telecom stream candidates and 25 positions for Finance stream candidates.

Eligibility criteria for the BSNL SET 2026 recruitment require candidates to match the necessary age and education requisites related to the respective stream.
Age Limit: 21 to 30 years as of 7 March 2026
Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 5 years for SC/ST
Telecom Stream: Full-time B.E./B.Tech with at least 60% marks in Electronics & Telecom, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or Instrumentation
Finance Stream: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA)
Fee: General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 2,500
Fee: SC / ST / PwBD: Rs. 1,250
The selected candidates will receive their appointment to the E-3 IDA pay scale, which offers a salary range between Rs.24,900 and Rs.50,500 monthly.
The employees will get their base salary together with standard PSU benefits, which include Industrial Dearness Allowance(IDA), House Rent Allowance(HRA), and all other applicable allowances.
The candidates need to sign a service bond of Rs.9 lakhs, while committing to work at BSNL for five years.
