All India Management Association (AIMA) has made public the timetable of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for the year 2026. They can prepare for an exam either in paper-based, Based Test (PBT) mode or in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. On the official website, mat.aima.in, the registration process is already underway.
Candidates must fill out their application forms online. You will have to provide personal and academic information. While filling the form, they should decide the mode of the exam and the test centre city by themselves.
There is also a possibility of dual mode, i.e. a candidate may appear in both the Paper-Based Test (PBT) and the Computer-Based Test (CBT). A candidate who takes both the tests will be considered for MBA or PGDM admissions based on the best score out of the two.

Click on the MAT 2026 registration link.
Enter all the personal and educational information properly.
Choose the exam mode: PBT.
Select your choice of testing city.
Upload your profile photo, identity documents, etc
Submit the form and make a note of the exam date.
Refer to your confirmation page for details like the date, time and venue of the examination.
The MAT 2026 registration fee varies depending on the mode of examination the candidate chooses. The applicants for either PBT or CBT will be required to pay a fee of 2, 200. Candidates who want to take both PBT and CBT must pay 3, 800. The payment should be made online along with the submission of the application form. The amount, once paid, cannot be refunded.
