Guru Jambeshwar University is a state-owned University in the state of Haryana. The University was established in the year 1996 on October 20 but the inauguration was held on November 1. The University is named after the environmentalist Guru Jambeshwar Maharaj, who always spread awareness on the conservation of plants and animals.
