Bapatla Engineering College is located on a 15-acre campus in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. The campus includes modern buildings such as classrooms, labs, and offices that are linked by paths and greenery. The library has 50,000 books, online articles, and long hours.
The hostels give housing to more than 1,000 students in separate male and female buildings. They also provide food, laundry services, and security. BEC features an Incubation Centre and an Entrepreneurship Development Cell to guide students who want to launch businesses. Labs and workshops, such as computer centres with 500 systems offer practical learning. An auditorium, clinic, and ATM are also available.
The faculty includes over 200 teachers in 10 departments, and 70% have PhDs from IITs and NITs. Many teachers do research funded by the DST and UGC and write articles for journals. They also give mentoring, career help, and project support to help students succeed.
