Noorul Islam University (officially known as the Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, NICHE) is a private co-educational university in Kumaracoil, Thuckalay, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. It was started in 1989 and became a Deemed-to-be-University in 2008. The University Grants Commission (UGC) recognises it, and NAAC has given it an ‘A’ grade.
