XAT 2027 Registration Starts July 15: Check Dates, Fees & Eligibility

XLRI Jamshedpur has officially announced that the registration window for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2027 will open on July 15, 2026. Aspiring management students can submit their applications online through the official portal at xatonline. in. 

The national-level management entrance test is scheduled to take place on January 3, 2027, in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM across over 100 test cities in India.

Day 1 Registration Incentive

In a new candidate-friendly initiative, XLRI has guaranteed that applicants who register on Day 1 (July 15, 2026) will be allotted their first-choice test city. The institutional confirmation for this early-bird allotment will be sent out to candidates by August 5, 2026.

Important Dates for XAT 2027

• Registration Commencement: July 15, 2026

• Registration Deadline: December 6, 2026

• Admit Card Release: December 20, 2026 (Tentative)

• XAT 2027 Exam Date: January 3, 2027

• Result Declaration: Last week of January 2027 (Expected)

Application Fees and Fee Structure

The standard registration fee for XAT 2027 is set at INR 2,300. Candidates interested in applying for XLRI programmes must pay an additional fee of INR 200 per program selected during the application process.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates holding a recognised bachelor’s degree of at least three years in any discipline are eligible to apply. Students in their final year of graduation can also register, provided they complete their final examinations by June 12, 2027. Notably, professional qualifications like CA and CS are accepted in place of a traditional graduation degree. There is no upper age limit or restriction on the number of attempts.
