The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) released the UPTET Answer Key 2026 today, July 8, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test can now download the provisional answer key PDF and response sheets directly from the official website at upessc.up.gov.in. 

The state-level teacher eligibility examination was successfully conducted from July 2 to July 4, 2026, across multiple test centres in Uttar Pradesh.

Applicants can follow these step-by-step instructions to download the UPTET provisional answer key:

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to the official UPESSC website at upessc.up.gov.in.

2. Click the Link: Locate and click on the "UPTET 2026 Provisional Answer Key" notification link on the homepage.

3. Enter Credentials: You will be redirected to the login portal. Enter your 10-digit Roll Number and Date of Birth.

4. Select Paper Series: Choose your respective exam shift, Paper 1 (Primary) or Paper 2 (Upper Primary), along with your booklet set code (Set A, B, C, or D).

5. Download and Save: The answer key PDF will appear on the screen. Download and save it to calculate your estimated scores.

UPTET Answer Key 2026 Objection Window Now Open

Candidates who find discrepancies or incorrect answers in the provisional key can raise online objections. The UPTET objection window remains open until July 14, 2026.

• Objection Fee: Candidates must pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 500 per challenged question.

• Supporting Documents: Objections must be backed by standard, authentic sources such as NCERT or SCERT textbooks.

• Submission Mode: Challenges will only be accepted through the official online portal. Offline submissions via post, fax, or email will not be entertained.

If the challenges are found valid by the subject expert committee, a final UPTET Answer Key 2026 will be prepared, followed closely by the declaration of the UPTET Result 2026.

UPTET Qualifying Cutoff Marks 2026

The UPTET exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions with no negative marking. To qualify for the certificate, candidates must meet the minimum cutoff scores:

• General / Unreserved Category: Must secure at least 60% (90 out of 150 marks).

• OBC / SC / ST / PwD Categories: Must secure at least 55% (82 out of 150 marks).
