Bundelkhand University (BU), Jhansi, is conducting the Uttar Pradesh B.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2026 on 26 April 2026. The exam is for admission to the two-year Bachelor of Education program for the 2026-2028 academic session.
Candidates can apply through the Bundelkhand University official website. The form submission is open till 5 March 2026 without a late fee. With a late fee, 10 March 2026 is the late date to apply.
UP B.Ed Examination 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill these eligibility requirements for the exam:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks for General/OBC candidates.
Engineering/Technology Graduates: Must have at least 55% marks with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics.
SC/ST Candidates: Must have at least 45% marks, or only a pass certificate is required for SC/ST of UP domicile (As per university rules).
Age Limit: Minimum age of 21 years, as there is no upper age limit.

Candidates can pay fees online via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Exam Format:
The exam follows an offline mode with two papers of general knowledge, language, aptitude, and subject expertise. Total exam time is 3 hours.
Paper 1 includes General Knowledge and Language (Hindi or English), with 50 questions each.
Paper 2 includes the General Aptitude Test and Subject Ability (Arts/Science/Commerce/Agriculture), with 50 questions each.
Candidates receive +2 marks for each correct answer and lose 0.33 marks for each incorrect answer.
