The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) released the recruitment notification for the post of Livestock Extension Officer (Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari). A total of 120 vacancies are available under the Department of Animal Husbandry.

The 120 posts are divided into two categories:
Direct Recruitment: 108 Posts
Departmental (For working staff): 12 Posts
Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level 6, with a salary ranging from INR 35,400 to INR 1,12,400 per month.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Agriculture, or Animal Husbandry from a recognized university.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 42 years (as of July 1, 2026). Standard age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen as per state government rules.

SC/ST/EWS/PWD: INR 150
Orphan Candidates: Exempted
The selection process begins with a written test. The test will consist of 100 objective-type questions (MCQs) to be completed in 2 hours, focusing on relevant subjects like Biology and Agriculture.
