The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the city intimation slip for the UGC NET December 2025 cycle. This slip allows candidates to know which city their exam centre is in, helping them plan their travel and other arrangements in advance. The exams are scheduled to take place from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026.
It's important to note that this slip is not the admit card but is still very useful. It is especially for those who may have to travel to a different city for the exam. Candidates should keep an eye on NTA’s official websites for updates on when the slip will be available.
The city slip for UGC NET is typically made available about 10 days before the test. So, for the session of December 2025, it is anticipated to be there on or about December 21, 2025. The slip will show you the city in which your exam will be held.
Note that the city slip will not show you the exact location of the exam or the time. It is only a very early update to assist you if you need to plan your travel, especially when you are in a busy city. The exact details such as the centre address and time will be given in the admit card, which will be nearer to the exam date. In case of any changes in the schedule, NTA will communicate them through official notices.
