The Uttar Pradesh government is actively distributing smartphones and tablets to eligible students in 2026 under the Swami Vivekanand Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana (DigiShakti Scheme).
Students can visit the official DigiShakti Portal to verify the eligibility and other criteria to benefit from the scheme. The scheme continues for the 2025-26 fiscal year till January 2026.
For registration, colleges and Universities are authorised directly to collect and upload students' data on the official portal.
No Direct Student Application: Students cannot apply directly, as eligible student data is uploaded by colleges or universities on the DigiShakti portal.
E-KYC Required: Students must complete e-KYC verification on the DigiShakti portal after their data is uploaded by the institution.
Eligibility: The scheme is for youth enrolled in higher education, technical, skill development, diploma, and nursing programs in Uttar Pradesh.
Distribution: Devices are given at institution-organised events, with students informed through SMS or official notices.
Students must confirm with their college or university nodal officer that their details have been correctly uploaded to the DigiShakti portal.
Check Your Status: Log in to the DigiShakti portal to track your verification status by selecting your university/board and college.
Complete e-KYC: If your status shows “Pending,” complete e-KYC using your Aadhaar details through the MeriPehchaan link on the DigiShakti portal.
Stay Informed: Regularly check college notices or messages for device distribution dates.
