The TG-ICET exam is conducted annually by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). It is a state-level entrance exam for admission into MBA and MCA programs.
The exam form registration starts from tomorrow, 12 February 2026, and the last date of form submission is March 16, 2026. The exam date is May 13 and 14, 2026, while the exam result will be declared on June 19, 2026. For more details, applicants can visit the official website icet.tgche.ac.in.
The exam is conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format with 200 multiple-choice questions with time-duaration of 150 minutes.
The paper format has three sections: Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication Ability.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with minimum qualifying marks (generally 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved categories).
To qualify for counselling, unreserved candidates must score at least 25% (50 out of 200 marks), while there is no minimum qualifying score requirement for SC/ST candidates.
The TG ICET 2026 academic session is for the 2026–27 year, and results are expected on June 19, 2026, followed by counselling in July or August 2026.
The MBA and MCA classes in Telangana universities begin in late August or September 2026.
