The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the provisional answer key and candidate response sheets for the General Duty (GD) Constable Examination 2026 today, June 15. Candidates can download their response sheets through ssc.gov.in.
The commission conducted the SSC GD Constable recruitment exam from April 27 to May 30, 2026, across multiple centres nationwide.
Along with the answer keys, the SSC has activated the online portal for raising objections. Candidates who find discrepancies or incorrect answers can challenge them by paying a non-refundable fee of ?50 per question.
Objection Start Date: June 15, 2026 (06:00 PM)
Objection Deadline: June 20, 2026 (06:00 PM)
The commission stated that any challenges submitted after the June 20 deadline will not be entertained under any circumstances.
Candidates can follow these steps to check their tentative scores:
Visit the official website: ssc.gov.in.
Visit the Answer Key tab on the homepage.
Go to the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026: Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys link.
Do the login thorough Roll Number and Password.
SSC GD response sheet and answer key will appear on the screen.

The exam comprised 80 questions carrying a total of 160 marks. The marking pattern is as follows:
Correct Answer: +2 marks
Incorrect Answer: -0.25 marks (Negative marking)
Unattempted: 0 marks
Following the review of all candidate objections, the SSC will release a final answer key, which will form the basis for the declaration of the written exam results and the shortlist for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
