SBI Youth for India (SBI YFI) Fellowship is a 13-month program in rural development sponsored and run by SBI Foundation in cooperation with professional NGOs. It provides young professionals and graduates with a systematic way to work at the grassroots level in order to deal with the most urgent rural development problems in different parts of India. A 13-month fellowship program integrated with urban youth working on rural development. The projects to be implemented will be carried out in cooperation with 22 state NGOs across the key sectors of education, health, livelihoods, environment, and technology. The requirements for the 2025-26 cohort will be tailored to ensure participants are capable of making a truly significant impact at the grassroots level.

Qualifications: Develop the criteria for the 2025-26 batch in a way that the candidates will be completely ready for fieldwork
Basic requirements applicants must meet for the 2025–26 fellowship batch.
Must be a citizen of India, Nepal, or Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India
Age limit: 21 to 32 years
Must have a Bachelor’s degree completed on or before October 1, 2025
The fellowship program has a robust financial support system, which removes any financial constraints for candidates.
Monthly stipend of ?16,000
A monthly travel allowance of ?2,000
Project allowance of ?1,000 each month
A one-time readjustment grant of up to ?1,10,000 after completing the program
Extra support, such as coverage for traveling, insurance, and housing aid
The selection procedure consists of a primary online submission and evaluation, afterwards an interview for the candidates who are on the list, and finally a selection with an interview for the selected ones. The application period for the 2025–26 batch has been shut down now..
