The Sports Authority of India (SAI) invites online applications for the 64th Batch of the Diploma Course in Sports Coaching at the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), Patiala. The admissions are open for its associated academic centres also.
Aspiring coaches across 26 sports disciplines, including Athletics, Badminton, Cricket, Football, and Yoga, can apply to join India’s premier sports coaching program. The course is designed to produce world-class coaches to bolster India’s sports ecosystem. The institute’s official website is the NSNIS Admission Portal to get the latest updates and to apply.
For admission, the registration is already open from March 27, 2026 (03:00 PM), and the last submission date is April 23, 2026 (11:59 PM).

Candidates are categorised into three groups (A, B, and C) based on their sports achievements and educational background:
Educational Qualification: Minimum 10+2 for International athletes; Graduation for others.
Sports Achievement: Ranging from Olympic participation to Senior National Championship medals or participation.
Age Limit: 21 to 45 years. A relaxation of 5 years is provided for SC/ST/OBC candidates, Elite Athletes, and Departmental candidates.

Registration: Sign up using a valid email and mobile number.
Form Filling: Enter personal, academic, and sports achievement details.
Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of certificates, ID proof, and photographs.
Fee Payment: The application/course fee is INR 63,800 for Indian nationals and INR 92,800 for foreign candidates.
