CLAT 2026 Registration Begins: 

The application process for CLAT 2026 is underway, giving law aspirants a chance to secure admission to top institutions with Odisha’s Siksha 'O' Anusandhan making it to the top 10 list.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 registration process began on August 1, 2025. The Consortium of NLUs opened the application window for students who want to enroll in UG and PG courses. The law aspirants including those from Odisha can now apply for the five-year LL.B or one-year LL.M at consoritumofnulus.ac.in

Top Law Colleges Accepting CLAT 2026

CLAT is the primary exam for students who wish to study law at India’s top universities. According to the NIRF 2024 rankings, the following 10 law colleges are some of the best in the country: 

  • National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bengaluru

  • National Law University (NLU) New Delhi

  • NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad

  • WBNUJS Kolkata

  • Symbiosis Law School Pune

  • Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi

  • IIT Kharagpur Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law

  • Gujarat National Law University Gandhinagar

  • Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Bhubaneswar

  • Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow

It is advised that students apply at the earliest and start preparing without any delay because entry to these institutes is based on the CLAT cutoff.
