Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB) released the recruitment notification for the engagement of Apprentices for the financial year 2026-27. A total of 635 training seats are available across various branches nationwide. 

The online application window opens today, May 21, 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their forms until June 6, 2026, at the official portal apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. Eligibility Criteria & Age Limit

Candidates must meet the following baseline requirements as of May 1, 2026:

  • Educational Qualification: A regular Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.

  • Age Profile: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Relaxations for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates apply as per Central Government rules.

  • Language Requirement: Applicants must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the official local language of the state they choose to apply to.

The selection for the 635 apprentice seats will be entirely merit-based. The bank will shortlist applicants based on the percentage of marks obtained in their Higher Secondary (10+2 / HSC) examination. Shortlisted individuals must clear a local language test and standard medical fitness documentation before final selection.
