The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) released the schedule for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET) 2026. The state-level entrance exam for aspiring teachers will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The official website is mahatet. in.
The registration process for candidates who aspire to be appointed in primary and upper primary schools across Maharashtra will commence from today.
Online Application Window: March 27, 2026-April 16, 2026
Admit Card Availability: June 9, 2026-June 21, 2026
Examination Date: June 21, 2026
The MAHATET will be conducted in two shifts on the same day. Details are as follows:

All eligible candidates who have completed their degree programs or who are currently employed must submit their application through the official website mahatet .in. Candidates have the option to take either one paper or both papers based on their eligibility requirements.
The MSCE states that all teachers who work in government schools, aided schools, and unaided schools must take this examination because it ensures consistent teaching standards throughout the entire state.
