PSEB 8th Result 2026 Updates: Check Scorecard, 96.51% Pass, Girls Lead

The results of the Class 8 examination conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) are now available today, April 10, 2026. Candidates who have appeared for the final exams will be able to check their results online at pseb.ac.in. The pass percentage recorded in PSEB Class 8 exam is 96.51 per cent.

PSEB Class 8 Exams 2026: Girls score over boys. Similar to last year, girl candidates outscore boys in this year's PSEB Class 8 exams with 97.74 per cent and 95.42 per cent, respectively. Female candidates always show better performance in the government and aided schools of Punjab.

How to Download your PSEB 8th scorecard? 

The students and parents can follow the steps below to download the digital mark sheet. The process is being made easy so that students don’t face any problem:

Step 1: Visit the official websitepseb.ac.in

Step 2: Students need to look for the "PSEB Class 8 Scorecard 2026" or "Middle Standard Result PDF" link on the homepage and click it.

Step 3: Enter the details asked such as registration no/ roll no and date of birth, in the respective fields.

Step 4: Now, the PSEB 8th scorecard PDF will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the PDF and also take out the hard copy which may be useful for future purposes like admissions to schools and more.

After downloading the mark sheet, the students can check the following information mentioned in the provisional scorecard.

1. Candidate's full name &roll number

2. Subject-wise marks obtained

3. Grand total and qualify status(Pass/Fail)

4. Overall Percentage & Merit rank, if stated.

5. Students can report any mistakes to their respective school headmaster/Principal to request a correction application to be submitted to the PSEB office. 

Students can look forward to the Photocopy of the answer sheets or the recheck process as per board guidelines. Those who passed should begin to focus on Class 9.
