Punjab National Bank (PNB) announced the recruitment notice for the apprentice positions.
The total vacant positions are 5,138 for the academic year 2025-2026.
The recruitment process is conducted under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the online registration window is from 8 February 2026 to 24 February 2026.

The total vacancies are 5,138, distributed State-wise, in which Uttar Pradesh has the highest with 814. Successful candidates will get the training after the recruitment, which includes 2 weeks of basic training and 50 weeks of on-the-job training.
The stipend varies as per the city. The metro city candidates will get INR 15,000 per month, while Rural / Semi-Urban / Urban Branches will get INR. 12,300 per month.
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for the examination.
Applicants with a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with results declared on or before 31 December 2025, can apply.
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as of 1 January 2026, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories.
Applicants with proficiency in the local language of the applied state or Union Territory.
The selection process includes an online written test tentatively scheduled for the first week of March 2026. The exam format consists of 100 questions carrying 100 marks from General/Financial Awareness, English, Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.
Candidates who qualify for the written exam must also appear for a local language test,
However, it does not apply to the candidates if they studied the language in Class 10 or 12. The process further includes a medical examination and document verification to confirm eligibility and fitness for the role.
