The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2026 will be held between May 4 and May 10 for admission in professional colleges of the state. Announcing the examination schedule, OJEE committee chairman DS Satpathy said that the examination will be conducted in (CBT) mode for admission into various UG and PG courses.
It includes BPharm, BSc Nursing, Post Basic Diploma Nursing, MSc Nursing, MCA, MSc (Computer Science), MBA, Integrated MBA, BCAT, MTech, MArch, MPlan, MPharm, along with BTech and BPharm lateral entry into various government and private professional colleges and institutes.
The chairman of the OJEE committee stated that about 1.3 lakh students would take the exam at 99 centres across the state, with 93 centres in Odisha and 6 centres in Kolkata, Patna and Ranchi. As many as 30,000 students would sit for the BSc Nursing entrance examination.
Those attending the exam were asked to download the admit cards from the OJEE official website and also to keep checking the website for more notifications and information. "Considering the heatwave condition prevailing, all arrangements will be made for the students," Satpathy said.
There are ACs installed in almost all the centres, but arrangements made at other centres were a cooler and fans. A sick room will be available at a few selected centres where the students feel uneasy at the time of the exam.
Arrangements have been completed for the weeklong exam by the Chairman of the OJEE Committee, DS Satpathy.

Daily Shift Timings
The exams will be conducted in three distinct shifts each day to accommodate the large volume of candidates:
Shift 1: 09:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Shift 2: 01:00 PM – 03:00 PM
Shift 3: 04:30 PM – 06:30 PM
