Session 1 of JEE Main 2026 will be conducted from January 21 to 30, with applications open till November 27. Follow for updates on the exam pattern, marking system, and admit card.

JEE Main Registration 2026: Aspiring candidates can register on jeemain.nta.nic.in for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2026 session 1. The last date to apply for the JEE Main 2026 session 1 is November 27, 2025. Session 2 dates are revised and planned to be conducted from April 2 to 9. 

Session 1 of JEE Main 2026 will run from January 21 to 30. Candidates must fill out the online application and upload the required documents to complete registration. Paper 1 will be examined for B.Tech., while Paper 2A and 2B will be conducted for BArch. and B.Planning.

The testing agency recently explained that the mention of an onscreen standard calculator in the information bulletin was a “typing mistake.” NTA confirmed that no calculators will be allowed in any form during the computer-based test. It also clarified that the calculator seen on the sample test platform does not apply to the actual JEE exam.

The CBSC ordered the affiliated schools to immediately issue the  Class 11 registration numbers to applicant students applying for JEE Main 2026. This registration number is mandatory for the JEE Main Exam, and to avoid any clashes with the CBSE Class 12 board exam schedule from February 17 to April 9.

 This year, exam cities have increased from 284 to 323.  The JEE Main 2026 syllabus is now available on the official website.  Session 1 results are expected on February 12, and session 2 results on April 20.
