The NEET-UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on May 3, 2026, in a single shift (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM IST). The National Testing Agency (NTA) started the application process on February 8, 2026, and candidates can submit their application forms until March 8, 2026. The official website is official NTA NEET portal to check latest updates.

Aspirants can pay the application fee up to 11:50 PM on March 8, 2026. The NTA will provide a correction window from March 10 to March 12, 2026, which enables candidates to change their completed application information.

The Admit Card will be released 2 days before the exam, that is, on the 1st of May 2026, and the result will be declared in June 2026, tentatively.

The exam pattern is off-mode that is, through pen and paper.  Section B is not applicable from now on.

Yes. The NEET UG 2026 registration is currently open on the official NTA portal (neet.nta.nic.in). Candidates interested in admissions to MBBS, BDS, and other UG medical/dental courses can apply online now.
Candidates must upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature, class 10/12 details, and valid ID proof (such as Aadhaar). They also need to fill in personal, academic, and contact information and pay the application fee online.
