MEA extends the MEA Internship Program 2026 (Term I) till March 4, 2026, at 17:00 Hrs (5:00 PM IST). Earlier, the deadline was February 25, 2026. The MEA Internship Programme is a prestigious flagship initiative by the Government of India.

The internship connects Indian youth to the country’s foreign policy and diplomatic operations. The official link to apply for the same is the MEA Internship Portal.

This internship is open only to Indian citizens who are 25 years or younger as of December 31st of the internship year. The academic qualification to apply is a graduation or in the final year of graduation. Interns will get a monthly stipend of INR 10,000. Only 30 interns will be selected for the programs.
