More than twelve private medical schools in Tamil Nadu are planning to increase their MBBS offerings by 50 to 150 seats during the second round of undergraduate medical admissions.
Additionally, each of the four reputable universities may add 100 seats. With this, Tamil Nadu would have 1,750 new undergraduate medical spots available.
Both parents and students will benefit from this increase. However, the temporary suspension of this year's admissions process has left teachers disappointed.
