The Karnataka Examinations Authority will no longer accept registration applications for KCET 2026 on February 27, 2026. Candidates interested in applying for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test can find a direct link on the KEA's official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
The fee payment window will close on March 3, 2026.
The correction window has also opened for candidates who have registered for the exam. Candidates can edit their application information after the application submission deadline because they are allowed to do so. The correction window will close on March 30, 2026.
The Authority has directed scheduled caste candidates who intend to apply for the CET 2026 to obtain their caste certificate from the Tahsildar, which must include internal reservation details (Category A, Category B, and Category C). The candidates must enter the RD number of the said certificate into the CET 2026 online application.
The following steps will aid candidates in their online applications.
Step 1: Go to cetonline. karnataka. gov. in, the official KEA website.
Step 2: Select the UGCET 2026 option available on the homepage.
Step 3: After opening this new page, candidates should click the link to the online application.
Step 4: Input the registration information and press submit.
Step 5: After registering, complete the application form.
Step 6: Pay the application fee.
Step 7: Press submit to view your confirmation page.
Step 8: Print it out and keep it safe for future reference.
The KCET examination will be held on April 23 and 24, 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts, the first starting at 10.30 a.m. and ending at 11.50 a.m., and the second beginning at 2.30 p.m. and ending at 3.50 p.m. The hall tickets will be available for download starting April 10, 2026.
