The State Scholarship Portal (SSP) of the Karnataka Government is now open for applications for the academic year 2025-26. This centralized platform deals with Pre-Matric (Classes 1–10) and Post-Matric (Class 11, UG, PG, and PhD) scholarships.
The official websites for the Karnataka State Scholarship Portal (SSP) application for the academic year 2025-26 have been classified according to the educational level:
For Pre-Matric Students (Classes 1–10): Application can be done through the SSP Pre-Matric Portal .
For Post-Matric Students (PUC, UG, PG, PhD): Application can be made through the SSP Post-Matric Portal.

Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
Category: Only students from SC, ST, OBC, Minority, or EWS (General) categories are eligible.
Annual Family Income:SC/ST: full reimbursement for ?2.5 lakh or 50% fee waiver for Engineering/Medical up to ?10 lakh.
OBC/Minority: Usually up to ?1 lakh or ?2 lakh, depending on the specific scheme.
Academic Merit: Minimum marks in the preceding qualifying exam should be 50%.
Register on the SSP portal.
Verify Aadhaar (NPCI-linked bank account required).
Enter personal, academic, and SATS/SSLC details.
Add Caste & Income Certificate RD numbers.
Visit E-authentication Portal to complete e-attestation if required.
Submit the form and download the acknowledgment.
Log in to the SSP Post-Matric or Pre-Matric portal using your SSP ID.
Click “Track Student Status” or “Student Status Report” to check application status, e-attestation, and payment details.
Note: Throughout the academic year 2025-2026, it is essential that the academic data of the students are either accessible through the UUCMS portal or transmitted to the UNIDATA server by their University/Board in order to process the application successfully.
