The dates mentioned here are only valid for courses belonging to Groups A to K8, i.e., engineering and pharmacy, etc.
In case you have completed your 10th or 12th standard and are interested in a polytechnic course, mark the dates for the application process. Registration will open on January 15, 2026, and will close on April 30, 2026. All of these will be done online only. Submit the form through the official JEECUP website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in. The application fee is Rs. 300 for General and OBC categories and Rs. 200 for SC/ST categories.
In order to complete the application form, you will be required to upload your photograph, signature, and documents. Make your application according to your eligibility.
A certificate of completion from the tenth grade is adequate for most of the courses. A few courses, however, demand Mathematics and Science.
The exam will be conducted online with 100 questions to be solved within a time limit of 2.5 hours. There is no negative marking in the exam, so you should try to attempt as many questions as you can. The syllabus is around the 10th, 12th grade level, and for the engineering group, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry are the major subjects. NCERT books are the best for preparation. Solve the previous year's papers and give mock tests. A good rank will definitely get you a seat in a government college.
This exam is for diploma courses in engineering, technology, pharmacy, agriculture, fashion design, etc. Counselling and seat allocation are done based on the rank. There are hundreds of government and private colleges in Uttar Pradesh where admission is available. Good colleges also provide the best placement opportunities.
