As of November 27, 2025, the registration window for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 has been shut for now. Besides, the correction window for the application form that was open on December 1-2, 2025, is also closed now.
In case you did not meet the deadlines for Session 1, you might be able to register for Session 2 during its registration period, which is at the end of January 2026.
Step 1: Applicants need to visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Register anew through email and mobile number
Step 3: Provide personal, academic, and contact information
Step 4: Submit necessary documents (photo, signature, certificates)
Step 5: Make the payment of the application fee through online mode
Step 6: Obtain a hard copy of the confirmation page by downloading and printing it
The window for form correction permits the applicants who have already registered to make changes to certain information in their application form that has already been submitted. The service is provided only once.
Applicant's Name, Father's Name, or Mother's Name (only one of these can be changed)
Date of Birth
Gender
Category/Sub-category (requires additional fee if changing to a higher-fee category)
Educational qualification details (Class 10th/12th)
Exam City preferences (within the country; changing to a foreign center requires a fee)
Medium of examination
Signature (can be re-uploaded)
Paper selection (adding a paper requires an additional fee)
For the purpose of making corrections, candidates are required to access the official NTA portal by entering their application number and password only within the specified correction window that is open at the time.
Registration is expected to open at the end of January 2026 for those looking to apply for the follow-up Session II.
