JEE Advanced 2025 Scoring and Ranking

JEE Advanced 2025 used both Paper 1 and Paper 2 for scoring. The maximum scores for each subject and the test overall are:

  • Total Maximum Score: 360 (180 per paper)

  • Maximum Physics Score: 120 (60 per paper)

  • Maximum Chemistry Score: 120 (60 per paper)

  • Maximum Maths Score: 120 (60 per paper)

JEE Advanced 2025 ranks were assigned based on total scores out of 360. In cases where multiple people obtained the same score, then ranks were determined by these rules:

  • First, higher positive scores received priority.

  • If the scores were still equal, the person with the higher score in Maths was given the better rank.

  • If there was still a tie, the person with the higher score in Physics got the better rank.

  • If the tie remained after these criteria, the people were assigned the same rank.
