An important point is that all programmes will maintain their 2026-27 course fee levels. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 provides for admission under multiple entry modes in Four-Year Undergraduate Programs (FYUP) starting with the academic session 2026-27.
But, it provides greater flexibility for students," according to a university representative.
Jamia has opened three new centres in Jaipur, Dehradun, and Kishanganj to improve access for applicants across the country, bringing the total to eleven. The ones currently available are in Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Patna, Kolkata, Srinagar, Calicut, and Bhopal.
The official stated that Jamia has reduced the tuition fees of international students coming under general and supernumerary categories to follow the central government's policy on globalising education and also attract more foreign students into Indian universities.
He further added that a different fee structure based on region has been implemented for students hailing from SAARC nations, West Asia, as well as Africa and Latin America in relevant UG, PG or diploma courses.
