The Indian Navy has invited applications for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme (Permanent Commission) for the course that begins from July 2026 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala. For more details, aspiring candidates can apply through the official website joinindiannavy.gov.in.
The Indian Navy 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme is intended for unmarried male and female candidates who wish to be appointed as Permanent Commissioned Officers in the Executive and Technical branches of the Indian Navy. The candidates who pass the examination will get a completely funded degree of four years B.Tech at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala.
Applications opened on January 3, 2026, and close on January 19, 2026. The course begins in July 2026, with selection interviews (SSB) starting in March 2026 onwards at various locations
Total Vacancies: 44 (Executive and Technical branches).
Target Gender: Unmarried men and women (a maximum of 07 vacancies reserved for women).
Course Commencement: July 2026.
Candidates must fulfill the age, academic, and examination requirements to be eligible for admission in the referenced scheme.
The DOB must be between January 2, 2007, and July 1, 2009 (both dates inclusive)
Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination
Minimum 70% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
Minimum 50% marks in English
Appearance in JEE (Main) 2025 is mandatory
The selection process is conducted in multiple stages to assess academic merit, leadership qualities, and medical fitness.
The selection is based on the score of JEE (Main) 2025 Common Rank List (CRL)

Medical examination for candidates recommended by the SSB
