IIT Hyderabad Launches 4-Week Applied AI Certificate Programme for Working Professionals

The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) has launched its Applied AI Certificate Programme for Working Professionals, Cohort 2. The 4-week hybrid programme will run from September 19 to October 17, 2026, focusing on practical skills for building and deploying AI agent systems.

IIT Hyderabad Applied AI Certificate Programme: Key Highlights

The programme is designed for working professionals who want to develop advanced Applied AI skills beyond basic prompt engineering. Classes will be conducted on weekends, with instructor-led sessions on Saturdays. Participants can attend either on the IIT Hyderabad campus or online.

Applied AI Certificate Programme Curriculum

The course covers Large Language Models (LLMs), tool calling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), memory integration and multi-agent architectures. Participants will work on a connected AI project using a learn, apply and build approach.

IIT Hyderabad Applied AI Certificate Programme Eligibility and Fees

Applicants should have working knowledge of Python, REST APIs, LLMs and Generative AI. Prior LangChain experience is not mandatory. The early-bird course fee is ?45,000, subject to limited seats.

IIT Hyderabad Professional Certificate and Registration

Participants who complete the assessments, assignments and final project demonstration will receive an IIT Hyderabad Professional Certificate.
