IIT Hyderabad Applied AI Certification For Working Professionals

IIT Hyderabad has officially opened admissions for Cohort 2 of its Applied AI Professional Certification Programme, a specialized course designed to help working professionals build production-ready AI solutions. 

Managed by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, this industry-aligned curriculum moves beyond basic prompt engineering to focus on enterprise-grade multi-agent architectures.

IIT Hyderabad Applied AI Certification: High-Impact Hybrid Learning for Tech Professionals

The 4-week intensive program runs from September 19 to October 17, 2026, offering a hybrid format with instructor-led sessions every Saturday. Participants can attend in person at the Kandi campus or join online.

The course bypasses vendor lock-in by utilizing a robust open-source tech stack, including LangChain, LangGraph, Qdrant, and LangFuse. Rather than completing isolated tasks, learners will spend the month developing, optimizing, and deploying a single, cohesive AI agent application under direct faculty mentorship.

Prerequisites, Fees, and Certification

Applicants need a working knowledge of Python, familiarity with REST APIs, and a baseline understanding of generative AI.

• Program Fee: An early-bird rate of INR 45,000 + taxes is available for the first 20 seats, after which the regular fee is INR 50,000 + taxes.

• Credential: Graduates receive an official IIT Hyderabad Professional Certificate based on lab submissions and a final project demonstration.
