IIM Kozhikode will release the final answer key for CAT 2025 in mid-December on its website, iimcat.ac.in. And the results will be out in the first week of January 2026.
The window to challenge the CAT 2025 answer key, managed by IIM Kozhikode, closes today. Those who took the test can question the initial answer key through the official website (iimcat.ac.in) until 11:55 PM on December 10.
The CAT 2025 exam was taken by approximately 258,000 of the 295,000 people who signed up. This means that approximately 86% of registered candidates attended. Candidates can use their CAT ID and password to register their concerns.
The answer key for the November 20 exam was initially released on December 4. The opportunity to challenge it opened on December 8 at noon. IIM Kozhikode has stated that it will not accept objections made outside the official channel or after the deadline to release results on time. The fee to object to an answer has increased from Rs 1,200 to Rs 1,500.
According to the previously announced schedule, the CAT 2025 results should be available in the first week of January. Before that, IIM Kozhikode will post the final answer key in mid-December, as they have in the past.
The test format stayed the same this year. The CAT 2025 paper consisted of 68 questions divided into three sections: maths (22 questions), data and logical thinking (22 questions), and spoken and reading skills (24 questions).
