Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has opened online registrations for the recruitment of 54 Junior Executives under advertisement number HPCL/OPEN/HR/1/2026-27. The state-run oil marketing company is targeting qualified diploma holders for openings within its specialised Chemical and Fire & Safety departments.
The recruitment drive provides a window for eligible Indian nationals to register. The HPCL Job Openings Portal remains active until July 20, 2026 (closing at 15:00 hours).
The total pool of 54 vacancies is split across two core operational fields:
Junior Executive (Chemical): 37 Seats
Junior Executive (Fire & Safety): 17 Seats
Candidates must satisfy the following benchmarks to be considered for screening:
Chemical Profile: A 3-year full-time regular Diploma in Chemical Engineering with a minimum score of 65% marks.
Fire & Safety Profile: A 3-year full-time regular Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering or Fire Technology with at least 65% marks.
Age Cap: The maximum allowable age is 25 years. Standard age relaxations apply to reserved categories according to statutory guidelines.
Remuneration and Benefits
Appointed executives enter a graded pay scale ranging from INR 30,000 to INR 1,20,000. The total annual Cost to Company (CTC) for these entry-level positions is projected at approximately INR 10.58 Lakhs, inclusive of basic pay, allowances, and performance incentives.
The competitive selection framework incorporates consecutive screening layers:
Computer-Based Test (CBT): Evaluates core engineering proficiency alongside quantitative, reasoning, and language skills.
Group Interaction & Interview: Evaluates professional knowledge and communication capacity.
Physical Fitness Test: Focuses heavily on endurance, height handling, and agility metrics for Fire Department applicants.
