Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has launched a recruitment campaign which will fill 731 vacancies at the Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise. This recruitment process seeks to hire fresh and experienced engineering graduates. The application deadline is March 25, 2026, and the tentative exam date is May 3, 2026.
The major recruiters' positions are in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Chemical Engineering, along with roles in Finance (CA/CMA), Human Resources, Legal, and Information Systems.
The salary ranges from INR 10.88 Lakhs to INR 49.30 Lakhs per annum, depending on the grade and experience. Monthly basic pay for some senior roles can range from INR 2.4 Lakhs to INR 2.8 Lakhs.
Educational Qualification: A 4-year full-time regular Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) is required for most technical roles.
Age Limit: The minimum age is 25 years, while the maximum age limit varies by post, reaching up to 45 years for senior specialist roles.
Exam Format:
Computer-Based Test (CBT): Evaluating General Aptitude and Technical Knowledge.
Group Task: To assess interpersonal skills.
Personal Interview: Final evaluation by a selection committee
The application fee is INR 1,180 for UR/EWS/OBC candidates; however, for the reserved category, this fee is exempted for SC/ST/PwBD.
