The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will close the registration window for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026 today, January 6, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to engineering, diploma, and pharmacy courses in Gujarat must file their applications before the end of the day.
It was previously decided that the last date for submitting the application would be December 30, 2025. Students wishing to enrol in engineering, diploma, or pharmacy programs at Gujarati colleges must take the GUJCET. Students who have not yet registered should do so soon on the official website. The examination will be conducted in March 2026.
The Gujarat Common Entrance Test is popularly known as GUJCET. It is an annual state-level entrance examination organised by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The test is for students who want to gain admission in engineering, pharmacy, undergraduate, and diploma courses in government and private colleges of Gujarat.
During admission and counselling, GUJCET scores are combined with Class 12 marks to decide eligibility. Those who will appear for Class 12 or have already passed can apply as long as they meet the subject and other criteria.
The students should keep in mind the following key dates:
Last date to apply: January 6, 2026.
Exam date: March 29, 202.6
Admit card release: Expected in early March 20.26

To complete the registration, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 350. This fee can be paid online via net banking, debit card, or credit card. Students may also pay the fee through an SBI bank challan as per the official notice.
Candidates can apply for GUJCET 2026 online:
Visit the official GSEB/GUJCET website.
Provide basic personal details to register and obtain login credentials.
Log in and enter personal as well as Class 12 academic details.
Upload a photograph and signature, both in the prescribed format.
Choose the preferred examination centre.
Pay the application fee of Rs 350 via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Submit the application form.
Take a printout of the confirmation page and payment receipt for future reference.
