IIT Guwahati is ending GATE 2026 registration on Monday, October 6, 2025. If you want to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 you need to make sure to apply via the official website—gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
The registration period for GATE 2026 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, will end on October 6, 2025. Those interested in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026 should apply soon via the IIT GATE official website (gate2026.iitg.ac.in).
After the standard application deadline, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 applicants can still apply until October 9, 2025, though a late charge will be applied.
The application charge is ?1,000 for each test paper for female, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) applicants. All other applicants, who include foreign citizens, must pay ?2,000 for each test paper. Payments must be made online.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will administer the GATE 2026 test on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The results will be made public on March 19, 2026.
For GATE 2026, applicants should have these documents ready:
a. A photograph
b. A signature
c. A scanned copy of acceptable photo identification
D. If relevant, a scanned copy of the Category (SC/ST) certificate in PDF format.
