The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), DU, has released its shortlist of cut-offs for the MBA 2026-28 batch admission. The next round is a Personal Interview, for which a total of 2023 candidates are selected against 289 seats. Candidates can visit the Results & Notifications - FMS Delhi page on the official website fms.edu.

The table below shows the cut-off as per the categories. The shortlisting was based on a Composite Score derived from CAT 2025 sectional performance, with a significant 40% weightage given to the Verbal Ability section.

Special quotas such as CW5 (23.419), Orphan Male (26.730), and Orphan Female (18.172) also saw competitive cut-offs.

Next Phase: PI and Extempore

Shortlisted candidates are now required to appear for the Personal Interview (PI) and Extempore rounds, scheduled to begin on April 13, 2026. FMS Delhi does not conduct a Written Ability Test (WAT) and focuses on the interview and a discussion on the candidate's Statement of Purpose (SOP).

Final Selection Criteria for the final merit list will be calculated using a holistic weightage system, as follows:

  • CAT 2025 Score: 50%

  • Class 10 & 12 Marks: 10% each

  • SOP Discussion: 10%

  • Personal Interview: 15%

  • Extempore: 5%

  • Diversity Bonus: Female candidates receive an additional 5 marks in the final tally.
