Mid-Entry allows students who didn’t apply through CSAS earlier or missed Phase 2 to join the admission process now.
Delhi University has admitted 71,130 undergraduate students for the 2025-26 session. It has nearly reached 71,624 seats offered across 79 courses in 69 colleges.
This news comes after the university released its third list of seat assignments through the common seat allocation system (CSAS).
In this round, students who got seats in the first two rounds were able to change their course and college preferences. The option to upgrade was open from August 2 to 3.
In the latest CSAS allotment 34,069 students requested an upgrade and 35,889 decided to keep their previously assigned seats. Because of this, 5,930 applicants got seats in courses they ranked higher.

Students getting a seat in this round must accept it and pay the fees by August 7 or they’ll lose the seat automatically. Each college has its own way to verify documents and collect fees.
After this round, Delhi University will post a list of open seats on August 8. The mid-entry window opens that day at 5 PM and closes on August 10 at 4.59 PM.
This phase is open for two groups of students
This is for those who didn't apply through CSAS before or didn't finish Phase 2 of the application.
This is also for applicants whose forms were rejected in earlier rounds because of errors in matching subjects or sending in the wrong documents.
To rejoin the admission process, students must:
Pay a ?1,000 which is a non-refundable fee.
Update their course and college choices.
Fix any errors made earlier during the Mid-Entry period.
Delhi University will release the list of vacant UG seats on August 8 which will also mark the beginning of the Mid-Entry phase. This window allows new applicants and previously rejected candidates to apply by paying a non-refundable fee of ?1,000.
The mid-entry period will:
Start at 5 PM on August 8
End at 4:59 PM on August 10
