DU Law Opens Applications for Project Saksham for Law Graduates

For the project Saksham 4.0, the application window is open from 13 March 2026 to 22 March 2026, 12:00 PM. The project is India’s largest nationwide legal literacy and aid initiative, and is conducted in collaboration with the Nek Mission Foundation and DU Faculty of Law. Students who are currently enrolled in any Delhi law college in the LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLM courses can apply for the roles in Justice Mitra under the project Saksham. Justice Mitra is a trained student volunteer who acts as the primary link between the legal system and marginalised communities. They are described as "Legal Literacy Ambassadors" and "Community Justice Facilitators.

The following is the timeline of Project Saksham initiatives. The application is open from 13 March 2026, while the Last Date to Apply is 22 March 2026.

  • The shortlist announcement date is 24 March 2026.

  • Interview rounds are scheduled on  25–28 March 2026.

  • Orientation & Training: 4-5 April 2026

  • Field Activities Start: 6 April 2026

  • Currently enrolled law students (LLB, BA LLB, BBA LLB, or LLM) from any recognised institution in Delhi.

  • Year of Study:

    • 1st Year: Eligible for 'Student Volunteer' roles.

    • 2nd Year: Eligible for 'Team Co-coordinator' and 'Volunteer' roles.

    • 3rd Year & Above: Eligible for all leadership and volunteer positions.

Members of NSS or NCC are specifically encouraged to apply.
