DRDO Nashik Recruitment 2026 for B.E/B.Tech/ Diploma Holders

The premier defence laboratory (DRDO) is inviting applications from fresh Indian graduates and diploma holders to fill 41 vacant seats under its annual apprenticeship training program.

According to the official advertisement (No. ACEM/HRD/APPRENTICESHIP/2026-27), the selection process involves no written examination. 

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications through email, apprentice.acem@gov.in, before the closing date on 26 July 2026; do not send physical couriers or postal documents to the Nashik facility.

Vacancy Breakup and Monthly Stipend

The training positions are distributed across engineering and general streams with fixed monthly stipends:

  • Graduate Apprentice (30 Posts): Selected candidates holding degree certificates will receive a fixed stipend of INR 12,300 per month.

  • Technician/Diploma Apprentice (11 Posts): Selected diploma holders will receive a fixed stipend of INR 10,900 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Academic Stream: Candidates must possess a valid degree (B.E./B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Com, BLISc) or a Diploma from a recognised university or board.

  • Eligible Batches: Only fresh pass-outs from the 2024, 2025, and 2026 academic years are eligible to apply.

  • Prior Experience: Applicants who have already undergone apprenticeship training or possess regular job experience of one year or more will be disqualified.

  • Mandatory Registration: All candidates must be registered on the updated [NATS 2.0 Portal](https://nats.education.gov.in/). 

Selection Method

The Apprentice Selection Committee will short-list candidates purely based on academic merit and a subsequent interview round. The department will communicate selection updates and official call letters only to the short-listed applicants via registered email addresses.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must follow these steps to file their applications successfully:

   1. Get NATS ID: Register or log into the NATS 2.0 Portal to secure your unique enrollment ID.

   2. Download Form: Download the official application format from the vacancy section on the DRDO Official Website.

   3. Draft Application: Type your details directly into the application layout, print it, affix a passport-sized photograph, and sign it.

   4. Create a single PDF: Scan the signed application along with your academic mark sheets, caste certificates, and your college's official CGPA-to-percentage conversion sheet into one single PDF file.

   5. Email Submission: Send the final PDF attachment via email to apprentice.acem@gov.in.  Do not dispatch any physical couriers or postal documents to the Nashik facility.
